Trump Systems is an Information Technology (IT) Services company located in Bolton, a suburb in the GTA, 20 minutes from the GTAA and 45 minutes northwest of downtown Toronto.

Position: IT Infrastructure Support Analyst

Location: Bolton, Ontario

Responsible for client IT project work, migrations, support, maintenance, system backups and documentation of computing infrastructure equipment and software managed by Trump Systems on behalf of their customers

The role requires a solid IT infrastructure generalist with strong working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Exchange; a complete understanding of LAN/WAN and remote access technology and the ability to provide operational and technical support as well as participate in project delivery.

The ability to implement and document Infrastructure effectively and efficiently according to best practices and established methodologies is critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, implement, document and support infrastructure architecture, including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Small Business Server, SQL Server, Virtualization Technology, especially Microsoft Hyper-V
* Act as 2nd/3rd level support desk to a number of clients
* Maintain, monitor, and support current and new deployments
* Manage technology lifecycle, warranty, and licensing
* Travel to customer sites for project, preventative and remediation work
* Perform occasional emergency and after-hours support, maintenance or project work

QUALIFICATIONS
* A degree in Computer Sciences or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum five years’ experience in IT
* Microsoft or Cisco technical certifications are desirable
* Experience in design, implementation support and troubleshooting servers, switches, routers, firewalls, storage, backup devices
* Good understanding of and experience with implementing, upgrading/migrating Enterprise backup software and e-mail systems
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
* Ability to troubleshoot/resolve issues with desktop/server hardware and software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with UNIX based servers and Mac workstations, AutoCAD and Revit applications is an asset
